In 2010, we have developed the Scope Control, a device that can measure in a simple manner the quality of (rigid) endoscopes and can objectively assess whether an endoscope may be used in the operating room.
When we first visited Patent Forward with our invention, we only had our invention on paper.
Patent Forward has distilled from this new and innovative features and has drafted a patent application.
Forward Patent has been successful in piloting the application trough all grant procedures and ensured that the patents for the Scope Control were granted in Europe and the U.S.A., among others.
The Scope Control is now a resounding success. More and more hospitals both nationally and internationally use the Scope Control. With The Scope Control we won the SME Export Award 2013, Shell LiveWIRE Award 2013 and the Young Technology Award 2012.
The patents for the Scope Control have helped us particularly in finding investors for it and proved to be an essential tool for us to protect the Scope Control from counterfeiting.
Although Patent Forward has of course many customers in various fields of technology, we were very pleased with the way in which the patent attorneys of Patent Forward have acquired knowledge of our field of technology.
